You can also use a welder's dark glass which can be borrowed from a neighbor or a nearby machine shop. Be careful that you use the right kind of glass! Welder's glass is numbered from 1 to 14 with 14 being the darkest. It is only number 14 glass that is dark enough for solar viewing! And no stacking! A pair of number 7's or a 10 and a 4 together do not have the same protection as a single piece of number 14.
A solar eclipse is a truly, truly wonderful thing. But one must observe it carefully! Severe eye damage can result if the sun is viewed improperly at any time!

Im in Australia... and Giordano is a low end brand of generic clothing for men & women so I dont think they make sunglasses...
Ray Ban has a range of glasses which are called X-Ray.

umm i really like the pink-this was my first choice but i was kinda wondering what they would go with :) so white or black ones?

The pink ones are awesome - definitely get them! My 2nd faves are number 2.

My partner has a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses which he bought from the Sunglasses Hut, one of the rubber arms fell off so he took them back to the store and was told that Ray Ban dont sell spare parts but gave him a website where he could find some...which actually didnt work.

Does any one know how he can get this part??

One of my friends sat on my Dolce and Gabbana glasses (which i bought in melbourne on holiday) and bent the hinge. when i returned home i took them back to the sunglass hut and they repaired it free of charge and also offered to replace the pair for free. Just luck i suppose
