I am a male with a medium face. I am looking at sunglasses online and I dislike glasses that are too wide. I have scene temple to temple measurements online from 4 to 6 inches. Any advice?

they should be the width of your face (i.e. temple to temple). anything better just dwarfs your face. anything smaller will make your face look wider than it really is.

also, as far as height in sunglasses, they ought to reach up to the eyebrows. so as to not create the illusion of a ton of horizontal stripes on your face.

I have always had trouble finding sunglasses to fit my face. I have an extremely wide nose so every pair I try sits too high on my face. I have heard quite a few people mention the Asian Fit Oakley's but their website these are for people who have trouble with sunglasses sitting too low on their face. I need a good pair for running and riding bikes. Any good ideas? I prefer plastic frames.

In selecting a pair of sunnies, the shape of your head is most important. If you have an oval shaped face (independent of its wideness), you can wear almost every frame type. If you have a round shaped face on the other hand, you should be very careful with round shapes. In that occasion it would be better to go for square or rectangular shapes.
