Getto put a self adheasive velcro strap on it or worse use duct tape. The proper repair is replace the overhead console. Because color really does not matter shop the salvage yard.

I would take wood, but I would rather use metal. I want something that stands straight upright like a coat rack, but have several levels that spin, just like the stands in stores that sell sunglasses. Can anyone point me at a store that would sell parts for what I need?

I watch a lot of the real estate shows on HGTV and recently saw a lazy susan like I'd never seen before. It was in a tall cabinet, starting from the floor and was about 5 1/2 - 6 feet tall. It was like a corner lazy susan but it wasn't in a corner and each shelf revolved separately. The shelves each had a flat side on them, I believe, and I thought perhaps each had to be lined up so the cabinet door would close but I'm not sure. This was in the kitchen of a house but as I watch mostly US shows, but also House Hunters International, I'm not sure where something like this would be available. However, I believe you can buy the hardware for a lazy susan or fabricate this out of pipe and other fittings.
