Sunglasses Goggles

i wil b buying a bike soon...so wat is better, for the protection of my eyes from other external factors...is it sunglasses or goggles...if i go for a ride, within 2 mins my eyes wil becum watery bcoz of dust which gets into my eyes...but den d region where i live is also hot so i need some protection from the heat sun rays also...
also can u plz mention d difference between goggles n sunglasses...den it would b extremely helpful...

Whichever you decide on, make sure you have shatterproof lenses.
There are many varieties of safety glasses available.
You might like the ones that convert by taking the bows off and putting a strap on.

Cuz I never see the difference between 3D goggles and sunglasses. So can you use sunglasses AS 3D goggles

yes you can,you just have to remove the eyelits and replace it with transparent paper. Trace the eyelits on the paper then cut the paper, after cutting, color the transparent paper with a red and blue marker then put them back on the glasses (remember that the sunglasses must have a base) for more questions please go to www.metacafe.com and search how to make 3-D glasses

I know your problem. I have always gone with the Smith goggle. They are comfortable and I like the ones with the built in Fan for deep stuff.
Sunglasses are a whole different matter. I have ended up going with the RayBan in the Aviatior Model. They have the largest lense available and I my large noggin they almost look normal. The other thing about the Rayban is you can order them really dark and with all the UV protection that you need.

Are they really necessary? What do they offer that a good pair of Sporty Sunglasses can't offer? Do most people use goggles for night skiing as well?

All answers here are good......in addition, if it's snowing hard some resorts will not let you up the advanced lifts without having goggles (sunglasses won't do). I've had that happen.
