I've notice in the past year, a lot of celebs have been wearing great big sunglasses that cover like half their face, lol. But I've also seen old video of Jackie O wearing similar glasses and she known to have a lot of grace, style, and classic looks. So is this just a fad or is a classic look that goes in and out of style a lot?
Fashions always make a resurface, just in different colors, shapes, etc. Look at the 80's looks that are making a comeback like leggings over denim skirts, high waist pants, skinny jeans, etc. In the 80's big glasses were the craze then, maybe not in the same shapes as what Jackie O wore but they were hot nonetheless. What I learned in my design class is that fashion is an ever revolving door. We look to the Europeans for fashion ideas and take our cues from them on what to wear; and Europeans looks to the West (us!) for their fashion cues and looks for ways to update on our look. It's a big revolving circle. Every style has come back, just a little different than the last time and sometimes just with a different name.
