Smith Optics Sunglasses

I'm familiar with Smith Optics from snowboarding goggles, but do they make quality sunglasses?

I've been looking to finally upgrade from my old reliable Nautica CR-39 Polarized Sunglasses that I've had since late 2001. I've been looking at Smith Optics; The "Theory" model caught my attention because I like the smaller sized frames that don't take up half your face. My main questions are

How are Smith sunglasses in general. I would primarily use them for casual wear or driving, and use during contact sports such as football/baseball.

Are the Polarchromic/Photochromic lenses worth the extra $39 dollars?

I like my photochromic lenses. They darken on hazy days to keep the glare down and they change pretty fast when I go inside. Definately worth the investment.

Okay so last summer i got these 100 dollar smith optics sunglasses. So today a screw fell out and i told my mom to just take it to the glasses shop. she didnt. she bought her own kit and the screw that she put in broke and was stuck inside the hole. i told her again to take it to the store and they could fix it for a cheap price. so she ended up super glueing it and she scratched up the lense and messed up the frame...it looks like i found glasses on the street and couldnt afford to get a repair. She says its my fault in the first place when i was just wearing them. i told her to take them to the store and that she shouldnt play with things she cant fix. now she blames it all on me when i warned her. now she said she is not spending more like 10 dollars on glasses......what can i do to make them not look like junk
oh shut up with the i cant afford it. my brother drives a 100 thousand dollar car. so does my dad and my mom drives a mercedes. so please she has too much money thats the problem

OK , I think that you need to go and find the receipt and go and get a new pair of glasses ... Im really sorry that this has happened to you... This happened to me to my real glasses and my dad ended up glued it too and then he totally screwed them up so i just went to the place where i bought them and they fixed them... Im sure they'll fix them for free since that what mine did and alot of stores do that...
