Running with sunglasses:When running in a marathon, where do I place my sunglasses when I have no need for it?

i'm running in Singapore, which experiences Equatorial climate. My marathon is starting at 8am, where usually, the sunlight gets pretty glaring, so i'm geared up with a pair of sunglasses for my race.

However, what if on the race day itself, the sun starts to get glaring only at say; 8.30. Where do i place my sunglasses from 8 to 8.30? pull them up over my head? or Do i just wear them throughout the race?

Answers are greatly appreciated.

put them in a small case made of material and clip it to your pocket or something.

What I do.

What are some good sunglasses for running and doing sports like tennis, good 4 driving and conceal eyes?

Are there decent sunglasses that don't cost too much but can be used in running and jumping and driving, but also can hide my eyes completely but I can see thru them well?

Oakleys are a little high priced (but still affordable). They are sporty and also have very dark shades.

What are some good running sunglasses?

I want some that are comfortable durable and a reasonable price.
Anybody know where i can get some?

I wear Oakley sunglasses, because they don't slip on my nose regardless of how much I sweat.

When running do you need a different pair of sunglasses than the everyday pair you own?

I have sunglasses which are rather big (bug eye), and I think that apart from possible discomfort, I’ll look funny running with them. However, the sun bothers me- what kind of sunglasses should I be looking for and how do they differ from ‘fashion’ sunglasses? Could you recommend some brand names, that won’t cost me an arm and a leg? Preferably international brand names or ones that I can purchase online.

if theye stunner shades then yes you need a new more fit to your face pair. Oakleys are good, gargoyles and ray bans you can try ebay for cheap payers some malls have cheap sunglass places

  • Buy Cheap

  • Trying Out New Sunglasses

I finished shoveling the snow last winter and needed to go inside for a moment to get something and I did something I never should have: I set my sunglasses on the car. When I went back outside I needed to go get the kids from preschool so I got in the car, put on the sunglasses I keep in the car and drove away. Needless to say I never saw those sunglasses again. The worst part is the sunglasses I put on the car were my running sunglasses. I’ve been without ever since. I don’t buy expensive sunglasses. I may have bought a pair or two in the past, but my kids liked going through my purse and trying on my sunglasses when they were younger so I tried to not buy anything that I couldn’t easily replace. The same held true with my running sunglasses. I usually had to clean little fingerprints off them before I could wear them on a run. I’m just surprised the kids didn’t break them before I lost them.
