Ray Ban Polarized Sunglasses

I wanna buy Ray-ban Polarized sunglasses for my vacation and I found one that I really like, but it is described as "Lite" Polarized. I am not sure if that's the same or a better, newer technology. Info in web is nowhere to be found... pls help!

It's a lot like 'lite' beer, less filling.

I recently waashed my polarized Ray-Bans with mild soap. I didn't wipe the water off and when it dried, it left two small drop size smudges on the lens.

I tried a spray solution from Sunglass Hut but it didn't work.

I've also tried vinegar, as well as washing them in hot water with soap.

Yeah, it looks as though the coating has peeled. I bought them about 2 months ago so I figure the warranty is still good. I guess I'll have to ship them to Ray-Ban for replacement lenses?

u might have peeled the lens... it's time to get a new pair... some optometrist offices attempt to repair the coating, but it's never the same. u could buy replacement lenses from rayban, but it might be almost as expensive as getting new shades. When did you get'em??? ....Rayban has a one year guarantee (they r usually good about fixing their stuff) good quality lenses never peel!!! so if it's been less than a year, u r good!!! (don't mention u washed them with soap!)

Should I get the glass lens or polycarbonate lens for my new Ray Ban sunglasses? Glass is more durable and scratch resistance but it can be dangerous if gets into an accident. Polycarbonate is safer but the clarity is not as good as the glass lens....I'm so undecisive. Are Ray Ban's glass polarized lenses shatter resistance/proof because of the polarized film? And what is better G15 or polarized?

the polarised lens is definately the best one to go for. it cuts out the most glare. I would reccommend you go for a plastic lens. this has better visual quality than a polycarb lens. Glass it too risky for health of eyes incase you have an accident. the scratches shouldnt be a problem if you look after your glasses well

I have a pair of ray bans, bought them a month ago. I think they are not dark enough but my brother says they are okay. He has a pair of Oakleys that are darker by a very small margin. I had originally bought a pair of polarized Ray Bans but those were too light for me so I got the non-polarized model. Can I get my ray bans tinted so that they become darker? What should I do about this, because the polarized sunglasses are lighter than the non-polarized models. The reason I need dark lenses is because my eyes are really sensitive. Thanks
I know they cut glare but I found that they don't block the light as well as the dark ones.
