Well, I know alot of yall are going to disagree with me but, I liked Kyle Busch's "Electric AUX 24kt". Also, Tony Stewart's special edition Oakley's sunglasses with his signature in the Lens were pretty sweet too.

What's the name of that old skinny nascar driver that's always wearing a hat and sunglasses?

I saw him on a poker commercial for full tilt, I think, and my boyfriend and I have been going insane trying to remember his name. I'm sorry I can't give a more detailed description, but he's older (at lest 50?), usually has on a cowboy hat and sunglasses, and is really skinny. Anybody know who I'm talking about???


Thats the King Richard Petty, Nascars all time biggest winner and 7 time champion. He has always worn those glasses, I heard someone say at the race one time he had cataracts removed one time, maybe thats the reason but he's cool with those sunglasses, and that cowboy hat. He is 72 y/o, and still active running Richard Petty Motorsports.

What would you recommend I bring to a Nascar race at Bristol?

My husband and I are going to our first Nascar race at Bristol in March. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we should bring with us to make the experience more enjoyable? I know we need earplugs, sunglasses, sunblock, etc. But is there anything else that is a "must have"?

Also, does anyone have any tips or advice that they would like to pass along about Bristol or Nascar races in general?

Btw, our seats are in the Earnhardt Terrace. Are the seats comfortable or should we bring a cushion?

    Who in hell’s teeth is Tony Stewart you might ask. He is a participant in that sport beloved of rednecks and other types who have the Confederate flag in their bedroom. Yes Tony Stewart is a Nascar driver and he’s done a campaign for Burger King.

    Now, no one can say BK is missing it’s target audience.

    Stewart appears in the ads showing that he is sincere in his endorsements. The latest is set to show the driver taking a lie detector test to show how he really loves the Whopper. Not that you’d need a polygraph of course because Stewart, unlike F1-athletes like Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton et al, is ahem rathera big man.

    Here’s a generalisation but all American motorsport participants are slightly rubbish. Many of them are rather aged (most actually look like Compo out of Last of the Summer Wine) because most younger Americans don’t know how to drive a manual car.

    But every cloud have a silver lining. In amongst a bunch of appearances by various has-beens is the superb Eric Estrada, famous the world over as hairy policeman Poncherello in 80s cop show Chips. If only you could get a pair of those sunglasses.
