Im looking at a pair of Arnette sunglasses on clearance for $60 bucks. They have a few minor scratches though on the lens. I have heard of toothpaste possibly working.

Anything else work?

don't try toothpaste.
smears the glasses.
and damages the lens..
u can go to a glasses store and get a cleaner
and works very well.
target walmart cvs all those stores have glasses cleanrers to..
they also have a scratch prouct that takes the scrathes off...
at cvs, try it.

What is the best brand of sunglasses? Arnette, Bolle, Oakley, Rayban?
My mate has Okley personally I think there ugly and a little behind the times as in they only just brought out polarized lenses only a little while back where is everyone else had them long before, having said that they do have them now. Rayban not quite my style, I have had bolle twice before very happy Made in Fance all the bike riders wear them tour de Frace etc not to mention they also make good saftey goggles. Should I explore Arnette? is there something im missing with one of these brands. I should add these will be allrounder sunnies for fishing and the likes. Thankyou

Since what year??

Arnette sunglasses have been around since 1992 and cater to "boarders" ie skate, snow and surf because of their comfort and versatility.
