Hd Safety Glasses

ok got another one for this project
I want to have a 2 peice window in the center with a 2 inch pipe that is cut in half "D" and then place a flange "HD" on it so i can have two peices of glass (removable)

HD "flange 2inch cut n 1/2"
II "glass"
H "flange"
Anyway thats the idea
I need to know if it is legal at 2in or even legal to have on a on road vechical( i have contacted the stat-nothing) because the center pipe will also act as a additional support
It is really more about replacing half of the window insted of the whole thing/wind also the glass will be a flat peice of safety glass dot rated 3/8 thick
The overall idea is to have a fixed flange on the bottom and fllanges on both sides of each section and then have a one peice top that tightens the two sections down via bolts with rubber/gaskets acting as weatherstripping
this also makes a plexiglass (offroad) option a quick and easy switch.
Unbolt the top slide the glass up and out
put plex in

I was riding my HD Sportster this weekend and pulled up next to a guy that was as enthusiastic about his Harley as I am. I mean, this guy had Harley everything. He had the matching jacket, chaps, bandanna, glasses, etc... He looked totally awesome and like Harley riders should look like. He was about 45-50 years old and he was riding with his wife. I really admired both of them and how into Harley they are. They both had those totally cool microphones on their helmets that you can talk to one another to discuss safety issues, road conditions, which cappuccino bar you should stop at, you get the picture.

Anyway, I pulled up next to them and they were blasting the new Brittney Spears album over their speakers! I couldn’t believe it! I gave him a hard time before the light changed and he said it was on the radio and not a CD.

Does anyone know if there are any HD approved radio stations that HD riders should be listening to? I don’t think Brittney really represents the HD lifestyle. Something a little more hardcore would be better like the Dave Matthews Band or Coldplay really fits what motorcycles are all about.
