No. They would have to have the standards stamped inside of them and the lenses would have to have a little sand blasted Tatoo on them that identified the origin of their manufacture by the safety rules. You have miltary issue street dress normal glasses. They usually do not pass for industrial safety without the identification markings.

Most aquariums are made form standard glass. However, if your concerned about breaking the glass or leaks go with an Acrylic tank which is the second most popular type of aquarium besides glass. It won't crack or have any accidents like glass tanks and is half the weight of a glass aquarium.
