Fire Safety Glasses

I don't see how I CAN wear safety glasses on top of my prescription glasses. Do I HAVE to get prescription safety glasses to shoot then?

yes, you can get safety glasses that fit over your prescription glasses, same as fitover sunglasses.
very good and safer then prescription glasses, and protects your expensive prescription glasses too.

Elevators are probably not allowed to be used as fire escapes because to the risk of failure during a fire trapping someone in a burning building.

We have a really nice open cast iron fireplace but our little one is just starting to crawl and will soon be walking too, so we need to stop her crawling into the fire... there are loads of baby/child fire guards on sale in the UK but MAN are they all ugly! They are just cages - it makes your house look like a prison. The best one we've seen is from Mothercare that has a curve to it, but the actual bars are still cage-like.

Whereas with the normal (non child safety) fire guards / spark cages, there are hundreds of really attractive looking ones, with nice meshes, wiggly-bars, stained glass screens etc. But these don't attach to the wall - the baby would just pull them over on top of her...

Are there any baby safe fire guards out there that look like normal 'pretty' fire guards?

It is really difficult to find something different from the 'cage-like' ones. I found one which is a plain mesh, it's in the sources. Hope it helps. :)

I think my 17 year old son is obsessed with fires. I came home early from work the other day and my son was playing with his tall glass object called a bottled rocket launcher that his pal gave him. It has some sort of stinky liquid inside of it, and a fuse on the side where you light it. I can tell that he has been playing with it out in the yard because it has dried up peices of grasses stuck in it. I tried to clean it for him and he got really upset and told me not to touch it and that it was expensive.. but i cant imagine a bottle rocket launcher being expensive? I think the fumes from the fire have gotten to his head, he has been acting extremely lazy lately and eating more than usual. I have had to go to the grocery store twice this week, just to feed him. Is this normal adolescent behavior or is he getting to involved with fires? How can I teach him the dangers of fires?

The centerpieces will be used for the graduation banquet and our theme is 007. We would like something elegant that does not include candles. We like the idea of candles but do not think we can use them because of fire (safety) issues.

Use sparkling lights most dollar stores have them they shimmer and they'll are really shiny and bright. The are beautiful you should try it.
