yes, eye protection, but not all the time your at work.
You should wear your safety glasses while at work all the time...I do, and for good reason....I work with glass, a part got stuck in the conveyor and it popped and a piece of glass went flying through the air..and hit me right in the face...luckily I had my safety glasses on!! wear them!!
Video on how to cut glass tiles using a very cheap standard tile cutter. make sure you wear safety glasses and gloves.
My dog fell through window and because it was not safety glass she suffered exterme cuts. My landlord said i must pay to replace window even though it had the wrong glass in it. Had it been safety glass my dog would not have been hurt as badly.
I would say that you will probably have to pay for it. You could take it to court and let the judge decide, but you may have to find another apartment.

I would like to custom my pinto wagon by droping it two inches both front and rear, and chop the top of it four inhes to give it that low down look. the problem is how do i cut the glass or reshape it . It's a 1979 so it has safety glass. And i here it will shatter if i try to cut it.
The side and back glasses are tempered glass. They cannot be cut. Your best bet is if the back and stationary side glasses are flat a glass shop can cut new ones from your pattern from laminated glass. The windshield can be cut by taping and sandblasting a thin line completely through the glass although the loss rate on this is high to moderate. As for the roll up side windows you will probably have to have new ones made (because of the thickness involved) and tempered by a glass manufacturer, again you will have to furnish a pattern.

Is there any way to cut glass without buying a special tool? It is not tempered or safety glass so i know i can cut it.
all that is needed is a standard glass cutter(of good quality) clamp down the glass at the end you want to save(cut a length of wood and use a "C" clamp) tap the line where the glass has been etched with the ball of the glas cutter and snap of the end while wearing heavy leather gloves to protect your hands for being cut
when you cut your toenails?
i wear mine all the time.
