What are the best safety glasses to get for working on road construction?
Отполируем до блеска

I won't be doing the actual work, but inspecting work that has been done, with construction going on around me. The conditions are expected to be hot, humid and sunny much of the time.

These are good saftey glasses. They're cheap and high quality. O4L is very reputable so ordering online with them is not a problem. The only thing with these is that if they do fog (given your conditions they might fog) you can just coat them with anti-fog liquid. Keep in mind, these are prescription goggles, so they can have prescription lenses in them. If you don't need prescription, ordering them without prescription is fine too.

PLEASE ANSWER CAN I USE A PAIR OF contractors SAFETY GLASSES IN A LAB or just specific ones meant for labs?
1223091152a

I dont see what the difference is and lab glasses are so ugly really could I just pick up some dewalts or okleys meant for construction workers? Same thing right?

I would use safety glasses made for laboratory use. Construction safety glasses aren't meant to protect your eyes if your are working with chemicals. Chemical splash can be a danger to your face and vision. I would use a face shield as well, safety should be your utmost concern.

Staying cool as an indoor construction worker?
Frank the Tank

My Boyfriend is a sheet metal worker. He works indoor in a metal wharehouse. Lately the temperature outside is in the high 90(F)'s. Inside the wharehouse it is 115(F) or hotter. He is required to wear long work pants, work boots, t-shirt, gloves, and safety glasses. He currently drinks LOTs of cold water. He is getting headach's and rash's from the heat. What can he do to stay cool? Help with the headach's, prevent the rash? Any suggestions would be helpful

Wetting a bandana and putting it around his neck or over his head will help. As long as the head and neck stay cool then the rest of the body tends to feel cooler. It's good that he's drinking lots of water...he will get dehydrated easily working in that environment which is what is probably contributing to the headaches. He could also get one of those water bottle fans and spray himself with it. There have been times when I had to dump an entire bottle of cold water over my head to keep from getting heat exhaustion. As far as the rashes go, it's hard to say how to prevent those. If he wears snug fitting clothes that rub against his skin while he's hot and sweaty it will cause the rash. I would suggest trying to wear loose clothing if at all possible.

someone filed a complaint regarding "unapproved construction" and a complaint regarding 3 dwelling units

on my property(visible from the street) what can i expect a inspector to look at key areas and what are the key areas that he will inspect to possibly red tag me ? i have 3 rented dwellings and they were here more than 15 years and each has a mail box and two small dwellings share the same breaker box which runs to the main breaker box which is located on the side of the main 3 bedroom house in front which is vaccant and under going construction ,as per the first depicted complaint listed . all that is involved in the construction is new duel pane safety glass windows for the whole home (replacing the old glass windows non safty type) also new paint in and out and some stucco patch work and linolium on the bathroom floors and kitchen also refinishing of the hardwood flooring. one of the smaller dwellings is two rooms it has a bedroom and a bathroom shower toilet bathtub a kitchen living room and has hot and cold water .the third dwelling same but is behind a gate.. what can i expect?
