These are see-through aviator style glasses. I'm not sure if this is the exact one you are looking for but they were the closest ones I could find. It would be helpful if you provided a pic. Anyway, these glasses are only for 15$ prescription or no prescription. I know, it's crazy cheap. That's why I buy from there all the time. Don't worry, O4L is a trusted online store, with fast delivery and good quality glasses, so you should try ordering from them.

Aviator sunglasses?

I read up on other posts about aviators, about the difference between men and woman..

I wanna get a pair, but it's for "men", would that look weird ono me then? I'm a girl and all.. or it doees it not matter, knowing most glasses are unisex.

They're white rimmed, mirrored aviators.

You should get it, it would look cute!

Judge the book by the cover?

What would you assume about the following people and their chosen reading material:

1) A man with a mustache, aviator sunglasses, a trench coat, and a fedora sitting outside a middle school reading Lolita?

2) A business man with slicked back dark hair, flawlessly white teeth, and a blue tooth in his ear reading Twilight while standing in line at Starbucks?

3) A white haired old lady in a gray ankle length wool skirt with starched white blouse tucked in reading American Psycho in the middle of a grungy bus station?

4) A small brown eyed boy wearing a red sox jersey, riding the tram alone and reading The Shining?

5) A priest in full garb with silver rimmed, Ben Franklin style eye glasses reading Interview with a Vampire?

1) What are you trying to say about my father?!?

2) This is clearly a salesman with a busy life, a suburban home, a Jack Russell terrier who wrecks everything, and no love life whatsoever, though he thinks frequently about the boy who mows his lawn. He usually thinks about him while he talks to his younger sister on the phone.

3) This is a woman who was forced to raise her only grandson because her daughter is a slut. The boy has been the apple of her eye and is now at university on a full scholarship. He loves his grandma and wants her to share in all his new discoveries, including the wonder which is Ellis. Taking his word for it, she struggles through scenes of unspeakable horror while waiting for him to arrive home on the Greyhound, shocking herself occasionally by gleefully sympathizing with the novel's protagonist.

4) Only child from a broken home. Since he always acts twice his age his parents have him shuttle himself back and forth between their houses. This leaves them more time for their own pleasures, and prevents them from ever having to see one another. He's a quiet boy, and very well behaved. He'll be living with grandma soon.

5) A man's got to do what a man's got to do. . .
No, honestly, he just loves the deathless quality of her prose. He first read Rice's Jesus book, really, truly, Jesus brought him to the altar of Lestat! Now he is simply trying to further himself with literary pursuits.

  • Designer Aviator Sunglasses: a Lasting Fashion Staple

If there’s one type of eyewear that has maintained its popularity all these years, it would be aviator sunglasses. First manufactured by Ray-Ban in 1937, this type of prescription sunglasses  has initially gained popularity among Naval aviators, thus, the name. But when its aesthetic and fashionable value was recognized, there’s no stopping its distribution and retail in the mainstream market.

This particular eyewear is characterized by dark, slightly curved lenses, wire frames and temples. One aspect contributing to its popularity is the capability of the lenses to considerably cut the sun’s glare. With the advent of polarized lenses, this particular function was significantly enhanced. Law enforcement officers have also taken into using aviator sunglasses not only to protect their eyes from the sun’s glare, but also to establish authority by appearing aloof and not making any eye contact.

Since aviator sunglasses become a decidedly popular fashion accessory, and celebrities like Tom Cruise and Michael Jackson started wearing them, a lot of sunglasses brands have started designing and selling their own versions.
