Only like plus plus 1.25, 1. and -something, I all ready need to take Ibuprofen regularly for chronic tendonitis. I know I should try to wear them more (is ten minutes of reading enough?) I always just hold the book farther away but can read just as fast. Anyone know if a soecific type of Tylenol, Motrin whatever provides wuick eye strain relief! My sinuses are also horrible from allergies so any headache medicine you can suggest let me know. Thanks so much in advance,
You just need ot wear your glasses. There isn't any special medication that will cure your hedaches. You know why your head hurts. Even just a few minutes of reading can cause your head to hurt beucase your eyes are straining to see. So, enough said...wear you glasses!!

Does astigmatism only affect reading close up like computer or books? Also can they make reading glasses like drug store ones, but to fix astigmatism too?
The drug store lenses will not correct astigmatism. You will need a prescription to get any type of lenses that correct astigmatism.

If you mean "over the counter readers" no they are not available with astigmatism correction. You will need to go to your eye doctor for those.

Reading glasses magnify print and don't correct for astigmatism or myopia, so with reading glasses you won't be able to see distant objects.
I know it's hard when you don't have the cash.. have you thought of discount optometrists, or as a last resort raising money by selling stuff on eBay? It's most important to see well and stop your headaches.
I am concerned that you say your myopia occurred overnight. If that is the case you need to see a doctor first, particularly as you have associated headaches.

Astigmatism is when your eyes are football shaped as opposed to being round. Mine are like this and I am nearsighted. You should find a way to get to an optometrist.
