i am a bit ceurious if everyone, in the army, must have 20/20 vision or have corected 20/20 vision (glasses)? my vision is about 20/30 so my qusetion is will i need glasses, in the army, with 20/30 vision?

I am a guardsmen and i just bought some new glasses, they are grey and have a silver stripe that runs half-way down the ear piece. I didnt really think about army regs until i got home with them.
If you want to get technical If they did not ISSUE them to you, you cannot wear them while in uniform. Will somebody in your unit say anything probably not. But upset the wrong person and they start looking for things to get you in trouble those glasses could do it.

Applying to join the British Army and having to wear glasses. The glasses I currently have are designer (osiris) from the opticians. There very thin, stylish but were definatly made for reading not physical activity. Can anyone out there recommend any glasses, that would be suitable for such activity.

Im looking for a pair of victrinox swiss army glacier glasses that were advertised in the marlboro miles catalog some time ago. My husbands eyes are very sensitive and they were great for him. Our home burned down with them inside. Any help would be great. If someone has a pair please contact me.

I wear glasses for a slight astigmatism (Near Sighted). I'm assuming I won't be able to use my own glasses in BCT, especially since they are transition lenses.
they're called bcgs, nicknamed birth control glasses, cuz a girl wouldn't look at you in those things. they're oversized and ugly as shit. just deal with them and don't try to sneak in contacts. they'll burn into your eyes in the cs chamber.

The same applies to our movies. If I bring him in to Tokyo, we would have to eat at least one meal here. I don’t know any of the enlisted messes, and I would hate to drive up to one, drop him off, and tell him I would be by to pick him up latter. If we had our own mess, it would be different, or if I knew him better, it would also make a difference. Oh, I guess I could put some of my bars on...
