Like for working in the garage on a chair or changing the oil? No, they would not.
Get yourself some paintball/airsoft rated goggles. Or try to find something with a ANSI Z87.1 rating.
I wear these:

This is the review of the Falcon Safety Glasses. Thanks to all those subscribers! Happy Easter!
I am new to airsoft and i have been thinking quite a bit about which type of eye protection to get. I want something that will definitley protect my eyes and will block out dirt and dust (I wear contacts so dust in the eye is really annoying)
I have been debating between a full face mask or airsoft goggles. I decided to go with the goggles but soon learned that some have issues with fogging
After some more research, i came across these:

These are the ESS advancer v-12 safety goggles. They are designed for use in the military and can withstand a shotgun blast from 30 feet!
The price tag on them is rather steep, but i know they will protect my eyes and wont fog up in the field.
So my question, do you think these are a little excessive? Any other suggestions for goggles or facemasks? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
They're certainly up to the job, and many airsofters use them, it's up to you whether protecting your eyes is worth the expense.

should i get safety goggles or something like that
You definitely will need the face protection.... and clothing that covers the skin should do.
Are there any goggles out there that are better than the Arena Flakjak Goggles?
I was wondering if these were better. They near the middle of the page for 15$ they are called "safety goggles"

Or is there anything else thats good or basic eye/face protection thats pretty decent/not to pricey nothing like the crazy 100 ones, just something simple. It also cant slightly blur or distort.my vision while aim. I use mp5 and gotta aim precissly.

I've told them many times that the one I want to buy isn't that powerful (only 170 FPS) and that I'll always wear the safety goggles, and that I'll pay and everything, but they refuse. Help?
Same thing for me but now im working on third or fourth gun, and joining an airsoft league. This is how i did it.
I presented the sport of airsoft, along with the gun i wanted. I explained it did not hurt when hit, and that i would use safety goggles at all times. One major concern with my parents and probally all is that the airsoft guns are modeled after real guns. Expecially in the frontyard or street, it looks like you can shoot someone, thus putting you at risk.
Ok so first step: Start saving money, and sorta let your parents know your saving money.
Start with a spring pistol, even a cheap 20 dollar one, and safety glasses. Encourage your parents to help you shoot in the backyard at cardboard boxes.
PS: dont forget the bbs! .12s are fine for springer pistols.
After about 3 weeks, when ready, ask your parents when in a good mood to look at different airsoft guns. Hopefully if it works right, you can buy the one you are looking at. I advise you to get 250 FPS if you are going to get a little more serious with airsoft.
Hope this helps! Best answer me :)

Great gun unless you have the money for a Tokyo Mauri. (no gun beetin that brand in my opinion). Otherwise if u dont have a job and are just goin off of alowance, I highly reccomend it.Very nice speed and good accuracy. Not reccomended for pros, but very good neighborhood main. Highly reccomended for begginers to Amueturs. Nice laser.
