Then, suddenly, you find yourself sitting before a raven-haired temptress conducting an elaborate "hand detailing" procedure on your unaccustomed fingers, dipping them in and out of warm wax then filing them to hand model perfection as you gradually fall in love with her.

It's a striking evolutionary leap over the rundown neighbourhood barber shop where Vito hands you a dirty magazine to read while drenching your scalp in Barbicide.
