2. I'm 15 years of age and I'm going on holiday to Lebanon in July, where I was born, and I haven't been there since I left there - 2002. People don't know I wear glasses now because I'm short sighted.
There are nice beaches down there, it's really hot, and really sunny. I was wondering if Specsavers have designer men's PRESCRIPTION sunglasses because I'm shortsighted? If yes, what are the prices? I'm an NHS customer so.... anyone got any ideas?


1) Varifocal and bifocals are types of lenses. Varifocals have a distance part, intermediate part and reading part all which all merge together in the same lens and bifocals have a reading and distance part which are seperated. Therefore 'Is bring shortsighted at around -3.00 left and -4.00 right Varifocal or Bifocal?' your answer is neither, because you would require a straight forward basic lens.

2) When you go into specsavers you can choose any of the designer glasses and they can be made into sunglasses. The NHS only entitles you to 1 pair of glasses every two years unless your prescription has changed.
However Specsavers do an offer where you can get a second pair of NHS glasses half price. But its difficult to say if you will qualify for this offer because you are not buying ordinary glasses at the same time, so its the discression of the shop manager. If they let you, you can get prescription glasses for £68.50
If you havnt had any glasses in the last two years then a pair of designer sun glasses will be £52
But if both of these arent an option you will pay £125. If you do this you can have their buy one get one free offer so you will get one pair of normal designer glasses and one pair of sunglasses for £125.

I hope all this makes sense its quite difficult to describe what your options are on here, so your best bet it popping into the store and seeing what they can offer.
Dont worry about varifocals and bifocals they are usually for older people who need several prescriptions, so it doesnt apply to you.
