Prescription Fashion Eye Glasses

There are lots of eye glasses sold without a prescription that people wear for fashion. Do you think it's a bad thing for someone to wear them for fashion?

I've tried a few different kinds of colored contacts, the site was for fashion/costume effect. I want to have the real deal, no cheap ones, and I do not have a prescription for eye glasses. Any ideas?

Go to an optometrist and ask. You should never pick contacts without help from an optometrist. Contacts have to be the right size and shape for your eye, so an optometrist will need to measure your eye even if you don't need a prescription.

Corneal ulcers can occur from something as simple as not cleaning your contacts often enough, or using the wrong solution and they can cause blindness.

i dont wear glasses, i need the non-prescriptions for fashion and accessories.

Recommend things that are safe for me and my eyes i dont want real ones that could make my vision go blurry by wearing those since i dont need glasses at all, for fashion only.
also i do not want to wear real glasses(kinds that people who can't see text good. And it sorta blurs for them) Those kind of glasses may ruin my eye sight >.<

I don't my eyeglasses anymore. I bought those dark wide rimmed (fashion) glasses about a year ago. I was in college, but now I graduated and I'm looking for a job. And I would like to change them with something less noticeable, something more conservative looking.

Is it possible for me to just take my old glasses, buy new frames and ask them to make the lenses with the same prescription as the old ones? ( I don't actually have the paper, so is it possible for them to just get this measurements from my old pair)

or do I need to get my eyes checked again?

They can measure your lenses and get your prescription from that. They might suggest an exam since it's been a year. If you're looking to transfer the lenses from one frame to another, it would have to be to a smaller frame. If you're just looking for a new pair but with the same prescription, they can use your old ones to get it. Or, you might be able to just get that information from the doctor who did your last exam.
