Geek Fashion Glasses

I dont mean the real geek glasses, i mean the ones that are in fashion now.
Where would i be able to find it in Australia?

A thrift store is the first thing that comes to mind. It might seem a little icky to wear "used" glasses from a second-hand store, but they can be washed off with alcohol.

Another option is a discount store that sells reading glasses. If this is for a stage show, the magnifying effect of the reading glasses can be played up for laughs.

I was thinking of getting some oversized glasses (and have my prescription lenses put in them) as I would like a change from my thinner, squarish glasses.
Perhaps something a little like Nelly Yuki's glasses in Gossip Girl (she wears various unusual, more high-fashion eyewear throughout the series)

So basically any suggestions of designers or websites where I can buy more unusual, high fashion eyewear with BIG lenses. (clear lens please! no sunglasses). Direct links to particular styles would be especially helpful!

Hey my friends done exactly the same, got a pair of geek glasses and put here lenses in them. They look really good! American apparel sell good geeky eyewear. If there is'nt one near you just go on their website its brilliant! Also Urban Outfitters sell good ones aswell! if there isn't on near you just check out their website. I'm not sure what country your from? but if your from England Brick lane, portobello road markets sell loads. Oh and ebay! are brill for stuff like that.

How do I look hot? my hair is always a mess and I can only wear it in a ponytail, my friends are perfect and they're always trying to get me to do something with my hair but its hard cuz it looks good for the first 10 seconds and then it gets messed up. On top of that I have braces and glasses(I'm getting contacts soon and braces don't look TOO bad) I don't know where to shop either. I wear juniors sizes but I have no freaking boobs. And I have huge feet HELP!!

go shopping with your friends. you can try on stuff and have them be the critics. and dont worry about the braces and glasses. they can be cute! and for the hair, pick out a style you like, bring the picture to a stylist and get it done. they can fix you up! hope this helped a bit!

I think I look decent, I LOVE fashion so I am very trendy, So I'm not a nerd or geek just because I have glasses but I'm not popular either.

I have REALLY bad vision and can't see without my glasses. and I can't wear contacts because I have eye allergies. Do you find glasses unattractive?

I find women in glasses attractive. I think glasses not only help your vision but accentuate your eyes & add an air of mystery an intrigue.
