Fashion Eye Glass Frames

Ok, for the longest I have worn the black framed horn rimmed glasses that are super popular now. I mean everywhere you go, you see people wearing these but i want to try something that is less trendy. I am 21 yrs. old and want something that's still cute and not old fashioned. Which frames do you think look the best?

i love the black framed glasses look. but i can never find any. i don't need them medically so it cant have perscription lenses. i would like to buy them from a store if possible and i would love them to be low in cost. no of anywhere?

I don't my eyeglasses anymore. I bought those dark wide rimmed (fashion) glasses about a year ago. I was in college, but now I graduated and I'm looking for a job. And I would like to change them with something less noticeable, something more conservative looking.

Is it possible for me to just take my old glasses, buy new frames and ask them to make the lenses with the same prescription as the old ones? ( I don't actually have the paper, so is it possible for them to just get this measurements from my old pair)

or do I need to get my eyes checked again?

They can measure your lenses and get your prescription from that. They might suggest an exam since it's been a year. If you're looking to transfer the lenses from one frame to another, it would have to be to a smaller frame. If you're just looking for a new pair but with the same prescription, they can use your old ones to get it. Or, you might be able to just get that information from the doctor who did your last exam. I have these choices in my insurance plan: Lenscrafters, Pearle Vision, Sears, Target, and JC Penney. Details: I need an eye exam, 1 pair (unless 2 for 1, but I doubt it) of no-line bifocals, plastic lens, don't have to have the "fashion" expensive frames. Must have a warranty/service. Not sure about the added coatings like anti-glare or anti-reflective (are thoes the same?) Are there are other reputable offices outside of the above mentioned store locations that are not in the "plan" but may have less expensive pricing with discounts and/or coupons? I would sure like to know. I have found private offices charge more and this is not a good time for laying out more money than I have to! Please, only answer if anyone "personally" has expierenced this situation, let me know. So far, the prices I am seeing is about $300. "Answers" is a good forum, so to keep it that way, I give a "thumbs down" to stupid answers like: 1)at the store, 2) what?,3) poke your eyes out or similar dumb answers!
