I live in San Francisco (94109 zip code) and I need contacts. Which place has the cheapest eye exams and sell contacts for the cheapest price (other than online)? It doesn't really need to be a national chain store, I just want to know any retailer you recommend so I can check it out. Thanks!

Get on the phone and start calling around. Some places give you discounts, see if there are ads in the newspaper. Holidays are coming and they may be running specials.

I bought eyeglass frames more than 5 years ago in this little rural GA town; I now live in Central FL and cannot find any glasses for wide bridge noses. The frame I have is from Nine West and it is semi-rimless. Rimless on top. Everyone comments on how good they look, but cannot help me replicate this style. I do not have to have this particular style, just one for wide nose bridges. Any suggestions?

I live in Kansas. All the shops here have a very small selection of Von Zipper Sunglasses. I wouldn't mind shopping online but I'm scared of scam websites. Let me know if there is a website that specializes in von zipper eyewear that you can trust. I want to see a large selection of sunglasses before buying.

Try electricpunk.com. I've shopped there before and I know the site's real. Vonzipper.com also has a shop online but I've had trouble whenever I go to the company direct to get merch (usually I get my stuff late or pretty messed up return policy).

she has medicaid but the state we live in doesn't cover this but every so many years 5 and she had hers 3 years ago and since that time medicaid cut 10's of thousands of it's residents of this coverage anyone have any suggestions I don't want her going blind but she can't even drive anymore....

have you tried going to your local health department? oftentimes, the health department will have different resources available to help people with low income to get the health care and health equipment (such as glasses) that they need. you can make an appointment there and they can check you out at their clinic, which is usually very low cost for people with low income. it's worth a shot.
