Eyewear Plastic

When I was younger I was fitted for a pair of eyeglasses and found that my eyes would burn and tear up. I recently purchased a pair of cheap sunglasses that do not have that affect on my eyes. Other pairs I tried on did make my eyes burn. Is this common at all? Maybe it's the polycarbonate?

you are probably allergic to latex. Which is sometimes used to make the soft nose pieces in the form of latex rubber. Latex allergy is pretty common.

I personally cant think of any benefits from them. They are relatively heavy which can lead to facial strain. The lens look really thick and heavy too which further adds weight. They're just generally not efficient eyewear. Personally, I prefer the thin titanium ones because they wiegh much less and you can choose the thin lens. So why do people chose the inefficient one?

They're actually not that heavy and they're fashionable.

I had a bad experience trying to get glass lenses for my eyeglasses, when I realized that most eyewear use plastic. Just because I'm pissed, it should now be called "eyeplastics".

It's called "glass" because you can see through it to the other side.

Hi, if you're a dental assistant, do you prefer to: wear a mask and safety glasses, just a visor (plastic face shield) or a visor and a mask? Is there any combination which is more advised to use?

i think that visor without a face mask is a bad idea as it doesn't stop airborne particles going in your mouth such as water spray.

glasses or visor is good, visor looks like ur in the riot police though but it protects you more from splatter.

Is this like eyewear glasses? it says clear, but hoping it might have some tint to it.

anyone have a recommendation for a 22 y.o guy?

I just want something simple. Either light brow, smokey, silver..etc. but no crazy plastic stuff.

Not going to wear them daily.
