Eyewear Optical

I need a reading glass when I'm at my computer or to read..Recently, ordered a progressive eyewear from an optical shop. Did some examinations and when my eyewear is ready for collection, I tried on and could not even see clearly when I do my reading. Complain to the optician and he insisted that I do not how to use it and make up lots of other excuses. Isn't Optician supposed to help the patient and not just doing sales..How should I deal with it..

You should walk in and demand a new pair that are suitable for your eyes. Chances are he's just trying to avoid doing any extra work.

bought them from an optical place in a mall for 200.00 plus tax, the lady who sold them to me said they were real. did some research on them found out they were fake, and also they were going for 399.98 but were half price, is there anything i can do about this? the money has already been deducted out of my checking and receipt says all sales are final! anything i can do?

if she (the lady at the optical place) sold you them under the impression that they were real and they turned out not to be then this is fraud and you shoudl go to the police:

tell them everything about what has happened, cant say if you'll get your money back this way as she may be arrested and have all her money taken. But this is the "correct" way of dealing with it.

If a refund is what your after, you need to go back to the store and demand a refund or threaten the police (by mobile phone so she cant sell up shop too quick) but I would advise going to the police, asking them if they wouldnt mind holding back an hour or so then getting your refund in that hour before her being arrested.

You should also tell the ppl who run the mall, and if your haveing troubel, a lawyer that specialises in fraud and copyright. If you win a case, the looser has to pay the fees so done worry about the costs.

Recently I went to an optical store to get my eyeglasses in New York and i paid for a frame that was named Suki, japanese eyewear for like 200 dollars!
Does anyone know Suki, the designer eyewear? I tried to search google but I couldn't find it at all! I hope its a good brand!

Probably you are looking for "gotti", swiss brand since 1996. I don't know why but they put Japanese name as 'Suki' or 'Shiro' to their sunglasses.

This is from her Eyewear Collection, not sunglasses. I called the 866-534-2243 number today, but they were already closed. I like the Gorgeous in Gingham model (#BJ 070SG). Has anybody seen these at an optical shop?
I didn't know that Macy's has an optical department?

Can't the store at Ala Moana order them for you?

My wife went to the eye doctor and was looking at the frames for her eye prescription and I saw an item in the Nike eyewear display that caught my eye. This item is about 1" in depth, about 4" in height, and about 6" in length....it is clear plastic (looks like glass) with the Nike Swoosh inside in a chrome-like color...I fell in love with it and asked if it was for sale, the lady said no. Disappointed I asked her what it was called so I could look for it on the internet to purchase one, I've searched and no such luck. Anyone, how can I find one to purchase? Thanks. Mike

Hey Mike, why don't You get to know someone that works at that store, and then as that promotion comes to an end, ask them if You can have the display . Those displays are discarded in some way when the promo ends . It might work !
