I've always thought they were cute, but they were always the "nerd" glasses. Lately I've noticed a bunch of the "cool" popular kids in my school wearing them though. I've even seen celebrities wearing them

I'm shopping for new glasses tomorrow, and I was wondering if should get a pair of those or not?
These are the nerd glasses I would get if they have some like them...

but this is what I would get if I don't want "nerd" glasses

So the only difference really is the nerd glasses have bigger lenses.
So, what do you think?
yeah they are very popular and a lot of people where them as a fashion thing now. but I don't think anybody wears them as real glasses. you should just get a pair of glasses that suits you and you like and then a pair of these fake nerd glasses like everyone else has for fun occassions etc. i know a lot of people who wear them for fun and to look nerdy but i don't know anyone who actually has them as prescription glasses lol. and those non-nerd ones are nice :)

So, I really need a tan. All summer so far, I've been outside in a tank and short shorts and I have not tanned a bit! Only my feet will tan, and it looks rediculous because I have a very obvious tan line from my feet to my legs.
I called several tanning salons and they told me they could get me 100 minutes for $30. The money is purely to the tanning bed, that I don't have to pay for lotion or eyewear because I can bring my own, or whatever. Does that sound like it will help me? I don't want to go orange or anything, I just want something that will help me tan because regular sunshine isn't helping.
This is hard to show but... This is actually my skin color without makeup, so yeah, pretty bad.http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2008-12/1 330400/mywhiteskin.JPG
My entire body (except for feet and knees, which is all that really tans) is that color. HELP!
I don't live near a beach and I work a lot (I have 2 summer jobs, I'm a teen so I also have to keep time for friends too lol), but I also live in Canada so it's $30 CDN. :)
i would really go with a sunless tanner, my skin is pretty resistant to sun as well, and spending all that money for tanning just for it to fade after a week or so just seems riduculous. sunless tanners are really good these days. i recomend "loreal subline bronze" $10, its tinted lotion so its not messy and you know where youre putting it, the tan is really rich and deep, i love it and use it when im going out. but day to day i use "ocean potion ever glow" $5, its a Big bottle, daily gradual tanner, great color, great smell, luv it. not to mention the health risks of uv rays are a good reason to sunless tan too.
good luck!

There we were, wearing our brand spanking new Pradas and Marc Jacobs, as always, starring at barely alive half-shrimp/half-bird creature...Burghhh...That thing was definitely hooked up to something with rotors (a tiny defibrillator perhaps) to keep it breathing until it was time for it to head onto the plate of a local high roller.
