    So as all of you can imagine…I am a huge fan of fashion and designers. One of my favorite designers is Betsey Johnson. She is known for her feminine, whimsical designs and a lot of her pieces are inspired by costumes….they are exuberant, embellished, and over the top….but that is what makes her so unique! Her stores are covered in pink floral designs from ceiling to floor…and when you walk into one you feel like you are in a huge dressing room sent down from heaven! :) She has been designing fabulous things since the 1960’s and is an icon in the fashion world! Her fashion careeer started when she won the Mademoiselle Guest Editor Contest….from there she went on to be a in-house designer for a boutique called, Paraphernalia, in Manhattan. In 1969 she decided to open her own boutique called, Bunki Nini in New York. She also designed for numerous other labels for about 10 years. In 1978 she started the Betsey Johnson Label, as it is known today....
