high end eyewear from fashion legend

Legendary label Bill Blass has used the same inspiration used in its’ iconic fashion line and translated that into eyewear with this season’s line of Bill Blass eyeglasses . While the fashion mainstay is taking a sabbatical from the runway, it continues to thrive with a specialty line of eyeglasses and accessories. The new line of prescription eyeglasses is available for purchase from online retailers and other internet shopping sites. Using lower price points than the fashion house may be used to, this new venture will hopefully help bring the company back from the brink of financial ruin.

Since 1970, Bill Blass has remained one of the most well known American designers of his time. The status of the notorious designer grew into a world class reputation with devout following of Hollywood royalty. Bill Blass also established his clout and position by styling three First Ladies: Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, and Jackie Kennedy.

Although it is unclear whether the Bill Blass line will produce another apparel line or make a triumphant return to Fashion Week, the accessories aspect of the business will hopefully continue to bloom with this fresh collection of prescription eyeglasses. The Bill Blass name and reputation alone should be enough to keep the label afloat and allow for the accessories branch to prosper for many years to come.
