Wide Frames Eyeglasses

where can i find a wide selection of this style in stores? not online. i already know lenscrafters and maybe pearle vision...
it doesn't have to be brand name, just that style, with the chunky plastic sides. not skinny sides.

Hey guys! So I finally got around to doing this after... forever! Haha, sorry it took so long! This would have been up on Wednesday, but it failed ...

I have a really long, skinny face and a really big, long nose. My frames either end up being too wide or they make my nose look bigger, and the ones I have now are tall and square-ish. They look awful and the bridge is funny-looking. Any suggestions for some new frames?

I want to order eyeglasses from the Internet, but the frames I like at this particular place have a 16mm bridge width instead of 17mm, and I'm not sure what to make of this. Is this only a small difference, or is it actually a big enough difference to make the bridge of my nose hurt over time with continued wearing?

What about the difference between the old 146mm frame width and the new 140mm frame width? Is this going to be a problem? As it is, 146mm feels comfortable, but is definitely on the wide side when I look at the eyeglasses in the mirror when wearing them.

Every frame will sit on your face slightly differently depending on the style and shape of the frame. Even two frames with the same measurements will fit slightly differently.

Best thing to do is try to find that same frame in an opticians if you can - where you will be able to try it on.

If this is not possible, then it would be worth trying to get in touch with the people that run the internet site that you will be getting the glasses from and asking them if they can send you the frames without the prescription in initially just to try it for fit.

Many internet sites will allow this but you will have to pay for the postage and return postage

I bought eyeglass frames more than 5 years ago in this little rural GA town; I now live in Central FL and cannot find any glasses for wide bridge noses. The frame I have is from Nine West and it is semi-rimless. Rimless on top. Everyone comments on how good they look, but cannot help me replicate this style. I do not have to have this particular style, just one for wide nose bridges. Any suggestions?

I'm looking for eyeglasses that will make my face look more masculine. I think it requires squarer lenses, but I'm not sure. I need wide frames; the reason I switched from glasses to contacts in the first place was because switching my view between the non-fixed vision outside of the lenses and the clearer view through the glass kept giving me headaches, but I think I can deal nowadays.
Any help on more masculine eyeglass frames would be great (and specific links to frame models would be even better).
(And yes, I am female. I want help, not questions on why I want masculine frames)
