Thick Frames Eyeglasses

Seeing as how they're thicker and more rigid, I would assume that they would smaller and that I should get a larger size, is this the case?

I wear size 54 in thin frames, I'm about to order a 55 in thick frames.

Well, a 54 mm in a thick plastic frame will look larger than a 54 mm metal frame , because both will have a 54 mm diameter lens, but the plastic frame will have the added thickness if the frame itself too.

The biggest problem you may have there is whether the plastic frame will fit your nose right. No adjustments can be done to the bridge on a plastic frame, so it has to fit perfect or you will never be comfortable with it.

Even with 38 years experience in the business, I wouldn't order a plastic frame for myself without having tried it on first.

The chances are no better than 50/50 that it will fit you correctly.

I am looking for a specific website that sells brightly colored frames. For the life of me I do not remember the name of the website nor the web address. As for the frames on the site, I distinctly remember seeing bright orange and bright green frames with striped patterns of other colors on them. The selection of frames on the site was not too large, but was mainly comprised of bright, thick frames (many of which had striped or other such patterns). If anyone knows of the site, I would be ever grateful!

You should check out www.optical4less.com They have quite a variety of designs to choose from and many different colours too. Hope this helped ^^ It's probably not the one you're thinking of but I think it's good enough.

Yes I think thick frame glasses would look good. I think they're fashionable, so they look cooler than other glasses.

I like girls and guys with glasses, I think it makes them look cute. Not only that, but thick framed ones that make them look "nerdy" turn me on, probably because It makes them look smart and mature, which I find attractive, and it'd also make you look sort of clean-cut and innocent ("nerds never get any action") and for me it's a turn on when a seemingly innocent person turns out to be a total freak in bed. For me it's a turn on when someone wears glasses, in and out of bed.
