Manhattan Eyeglass Frames

I am a female, 5'4", slender build, with dark brown hair, fair skin, and hazel eyes. Think these black Prada frames would look alright? The stripe on the side is silver metal.

In reference to my personality, I am a law student who is into art and Icelandic music. I love wearing black (but not Goth black) and have a Manhattan-personlity.

I think they would enhance your already very nice appearance!

I'm going to be in NYC tomorrow (well, today, since it's 2am) just to hang out. I want to try on some nice frames. Is there any place in Manhattan that carries a variety of high-end brands (think Prada, Cartier, Gucci), with a good selection of petite women's frames? Any comments about their level of service is appreciated as well.

well I know that right in Grand Central station is a store with a whole bunch.
but there are quite a few allover.
just look around, you're bound to pass one.

1. Artsee on Washington and 14th Street in the Village - great selection of designer frames. My friend has gotten glasses there and was very pleased.

2. Robert Marc Opticians - I've only dealt with the one on the upper East Side on Madison and 80th - I only purchased the frames there - I had my regular optician do the lenses, but the frames were wonderful (they were having a sale when I went there). They have a few branches - on Bleecker Street in the Village, on West 15th Street in Chelsea and on West Broadway in Soho - check the phone book.

3. I don't know the name, but there are great looking frames at the optical shop on the first floor of the TimeWarner building. My friend was interested in the Gold & Wood frames ($850).
