Frames Eyeglasses

I am looking to buy some new prescription eyeglasses frames that have a soft and squishy temple sleeve or ear piece part. Most glasses have hard plastic or hard metal temple tips (end piece resting on the ear). Just wondering if there are any frames out there that have a soft temple end, maybe made of foam, squishy gel, etc. Would love to find some frames that are soft on my ears! P.S. I am not interested in drill mount rimless frames. Thanks.

I looked everywhere for variety of eyeglasses frames. All i ve seen was a bunch of common eyeglasses in thin narrow rectangle shaped (like reading glasses). These frames do not fit my facial shape. Is there any unique or local eyeglasses stores beside chain stores (TSO, Pearl, Eyemaster) in Houston, Texas?

I bought a pair of Polo Ralph Lauren glasses about 8 years ago. They were green and black tortoisey colored. Alas, I lost them one day when I went under a low branch. We eventually found a body, but they were unsalvageable. I do have a number for them, RL 648. Web searches say they are discontinued, OF COURSE!! Any ideas where to find these again? It's becoming apparent that green is a very elusive color for eyeglasses frames. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Can somebody show me some pictures of some popular eyeglasses for a women who's in her 20s. My last 2 pairs I had were ugly and outdated (everyone told me so). I'm gonna go see an eye doctor next week and I don't wanna make the same mistake, so I'd like to see pictures of eyeglasses that are popular today. Preferably, if your a women in your 20s or 30's and you've recently gotten eyeglasses, could you let me know the brand name and model of them so I can look them up for myself and see if I would like something similar (that is unless you have a link to a picture of them that you could post on here)? Also to find out if my local eye place has those same frames.

I know how you feel. Since it is hard to suggest a frame style without seeing a picture, this is what I recommend.
Stick to wire frames and go with a frame color that will complement your skin tone. Also, pick a frame that goes well with not only the shape of your eyes but your face as well. I have found that the smaller the frame, the better looking it has been for me. It also has made the lenses smaller and less noticeable. The other thing that has helped me immensely is to take someone along whom I know will give honest feedback and I can trust their opinions. Good luck.
