Where are authentic Prada eyeglasses made?

I saw some eyeglasses from framesdirect.com and wanted to know if their Prada eyeglasses authentic and are made in Italy. If someone bought prada glasses from this website please tell me if their prada glasses are made in Italy.


I bought a pair before elsewhere. They're made in Italy, which doesn't mean much for quality but that's where the real ones are from.

How do I get a replacement part for my Prada eyeglasses?

What I need specifically is a hinge that connects the left frame piece to the front of the frame. This piece broke and is Prada specific. The frame is model vpr07h. The needed hinge is silver in color.


Lenscrafters sell Prada brand...they will be able to order the part for you, if it is still available.

Hopefully there is a Lenscrafters in your area...check your phonebook.

As stated in the question..I want to know where I can go try on Prada eyeglasses and not sunglasses. Thanks guys!! I like their style and want to venture out to a more bold style than my usual conservative eyeglasses.

Both Pearle Vision and Lenscrafters are owned by the same company that makes Prada frames, so you should be able to find them at either of those.

Help!! Can my Prada Eyeglasses be repaired?

I bought a pr of Prada eyeglasses last yr. But the stem came off (not from the screw) & I lost it. This model is now discontinued can it be fixed? What can I do, please someone help, thanks.


Just because it is discontinued does not mean that the part ins unavailable. Assuming that the temple is the only part that is broken then you should be able to call a few opticals to find out if they have the part or if they could call the manufacturers. Usually the manufacturer will have a few pieces leftover.
