Nose Pad For Eyeglasses

My current glasses have no nose pads. It uses a barrier instead. However, the barrier is too uncomfortable. I was wondering if its possible to return my eyeglasses for them to put a nose pad on it?

no it is not. im assuming you plastic frames if you do then you would have to switch to metal frames that have nosepads

For instance, I completely removed what holds the nosepads. The metal that the nose pad is attached to, I accidently broke it off when trying to adjust my eyeglasses. Is it possible for them to add another piece? I mean its completely gone. It's almost as if I bought my glasses with just a barrier.

you can take them to an optician, if they can fix them for you they will, they might be able to provide a temporary fix to you can order a new frame, so they are atleast functioning.

for future reference, they should also provide adjustments for free. i would take them there next time. then if they break it, thats their fault, not yours.

The nose pad on one side broke off but there is a screw that attached it. I want to know where I can buy a new pad so I can fix it myself.

this has happened to me many times. most places will fix it free for you. i guess they hope to get you as a customer some day. my present glasses have a screw for the nose pads. i bought them at costco.. they will fix them for you if there is one close to you. you don't need to be a member, just tell them you are going to the eyeglass repair. i only ever had 1 place charge me for this repair, and it was one buck.

I have tried several optical places for Prada/VPR59C nose pads on my eyeglasses. I cannot found them anywhere. Not even on line. They said none of their nose pads would work on those particular frames.....I still need help!!!

You will have to go somewhere that has an account with Luxottica , who are the distributor for Prada , and have them order pads for it.

Lenscrafters would be a sure place. They are owned by Luxottica.

Nothing dumber and more annoying than when a frame maker uses parts that aren't the standard.
