Eyeglasses Screwdriver

I need a phillips screwdriver to change a watch battery. I have a "precision set" that has a size #1 and #0 but the #0 one is still too big. The screws are just over a millimeter in diameter so I need something smaller. My set has a 1.4 mm standard screwdriver but I can't find anything that small in a phillips. Can anyone help?

Can anyone recommend a good high-quality screwdriver set for repairing watches and/or eyeglasses? Thanks!

What you need is 'jewelers tools'. However, that's an expensive proposition. Instead, go to a hobby/crafts/woodworking shop. They sell sets of small tools for hobbiests. They're about the same size as jewelers tools, but a lot less money. Just go and explain what you intend to use these tools for, and you'll get just what you need. Good Luck.

on delicate electronics such as a PS3? It holds the hard drive in place. I tried to tighten it a little then unscrew it, but that did nothing. The screw is really small ( about 1/2cm) ,and I used a small eyeglass screwdriver.I may have stripped it. Anyone have any ideas?

The only thing you can do now is to drill it out. Get a small drill bit the same size as the screw top and drill into it. That will remove the head of the screw and allow you to open up the ps3. The thing is you won't be able to put a new screw in that place again. But it shouldn't be a problem because all the other screws will hold the ps3 together.

I took the LG Rumor apart and to be honest its really easy to do just a phillips head eyeglass screwdriver and a flathead eyeglass screw driver. Ask me for pictures.....

I have never dropped the camera before and I went to use it the other day and the lens just wont open, it seem as if its jammed somehow, some people say it could be from dirt or grime. It makes this beeping noise and trys to open but then it just gives up. I have seen some people say to use a small eyeglass flat head screwdriver to dislodge it but I dont know if thats what I should do.

If the batteries are disposable, get a fresh new set of alkalines. If not, recharge the battery to the maximum allowable time limit, around 4-6 hours or whatever the manual says. If the camera still fails to function, get a new one.

The wheel is pneumatic with ball bearings. The nut holding it to the hand truck is round and has 2 slits on each side. My guess is to pry the 2 slits outward in order to remove the nut. There is no room to poke a regular flat screwdriver in, so I used an eyeglass flat screwdriver and it broke. What tool can I use to pry it out?

A nut, by definition, is turned, not pried off.
