as long as the frames are still in good condition and you have a current Rx, it depends on what type of lenses you want...if you want cheap then basic plastic CR-39 lenses can start at around $100-120...lots of times its just cheaper to get a complete pair cuz that's when retail stores give you deals....like lenscrafters always have coupons and discounts for complete pairs and you can get them done on the same day, even their AAA discount is 30% off a full pair and only 15% off if purchasing lenses only and their website have a coupon for $100 off....
just shop around since every store has different merchandise, I've seen nice frames there for $80-100 and plus the cost of the most basic lens, in the end, you end up paying only half the cost...it's probably why I have so many "back-up" pairs and when my dog eats my glasses after they are barely a year old, it's ok cuz I got my money's worth out of it and then some....
