is it possible to wear safety goggles on eyeglasses, no body can remove the regular eyeglasses and wear the safety goggles instead, or he or she will not be able to measure things right...






Can a person wearing eye glasses ignore wearing the safety goggles and just use the eye glasses as safety goggles???

Before switching to contacts, I wore eyeglasses. Regular eyeglasses cannot take the place of safety goggles, which cover the entire eye area. With eyeglasses, there are many spaces and open areas through which a chemical could seep, causing much injuries. I always wore my goggles over my eyeglasses. Despite looking even dorkier, I experienced no discomfort or problems. If your glasses bother you so much, switch to contacts. But, never forget to wear goggles!

It's a good idea to have both on hand at all times, but during the day it is usually best to wear contacts. Wearing cantacts can help to slow your eyes from becoming more near-sighted. You can also wear sunglasses or protective eye-gear during recreation. Eyeglasses are good when you are at home and just watching T.V., cleaning, cooking, or reading. They are about equal when it comes to cost and maintenance.

I am looking to get a pair of eyeglasses with just regular clear plastic lenses, that do not have any type of prescription to them... I just need a pair of glasses to wear inside because I have dry eyes and wearing glasses helps with that problem.. All the glasses I can find online look like safety glasses and not regular glasses... Do eyeglass places, like the ones in walmart, have eyeglasses without prescriptions in them... How much would I be looking at spending on these? Thanks

You can get them online for much cheaper than buying them from Lenscrafters and other stores like that... My mom got some Gucci ones from CoastalContacts.com. They have designer ones as well as some less expensive ones if you just want a cheap pair.

For comfort, you want something that will fit your face well. Make sure your eyes are centered in the frame and the temples (commonly known as the arms, wings) are the appropriate distance from your side of the head to behind your ear.

For Safety, polycarbonate lenses are impact resistent. They won't shatter like plastic.

looking to buy wire frame eye wear must be caterpillar frame size ct 4002-005 / 58-17/150 (inspecs) these were discontinued a few months ago there has to be a place to buy them somewhere ive tried everywhere .I do know the company sold off the remaining frames to the highest bidder all i need to know is who?and where thanks for reading.

The only thing I can possibly think of is to call an eye doctor office in your area that carries that line of the discontinued frame. Nine times out of ten if you can get your office to call the rep of the vendor for that company, they can check their stockroom or sample briefcases for one. We've done this many times for frames that broke that are discontinued.
