Just need a simple repair: to put the missing screws in! Thanks for any tips =) Tried to buy the screws myself but theyre not the right size unfortunately..
The easiest thing for you to do is to walk over to your local optical store and ask them to repair the frame. If they are like others they will not charge you for the repair in order to leave you with a good feeling about their service so that you can select them the next time that you need to buy glasses.
I broke my glasses without having a spare and my eyesight is horrible so my glasses are no where near cheap. This is the remedy I came up with 2AM ...
My mom is about to go out and get one because my glasses are too loose, what common store can I get them? I want something like CVS but CVS doesn't have them on their website, give me a store that you know will have them. I don't want to go back to a glasses store because it will take too long to get there, I just want like a regular store, thanks.
All you can do with that though, is tighten the screws.
If your glasses are too loose on you, tightening the screws won't help all that much. They probably need to be adjusted right on you again.
There is a lot more to making frames fit right than just tightening the screws.

They have scratches in the lenses, they're not broken.
Once a lens becomes scratched there really is nothing that can be done to repair the scratches. A lens has to be replaced if it becomes scratched. Sorry.
My eyeglasses have a ton of very fine scratches on them, probably due to wiping them with my shirt. I've had these lenses over a year. Is there some compound that fills in the scratches?
There's no way of removing scratches in eyeglasses. Buffing or polishing them out would change your prescription.
I have already read reviews on the Lens DR. and have heard that it doesn't work, so I was wondering if there is a way I could just do it myself.
Perhaps maybe a grease pen...do they work?
Sorry...there is no way...nothing that works.
Anything used as a filler would have to be the same material and optical clarity as the lens itself...so, that is impossible.
The only thing to do is have the lenses replaced.

Donating Your Prescription Glasses
Consider this: Almost three fourth of the world blindness is unnecessary. Many of the more than 250 million visually impaired people worldwide could easily be helped with a pair of prescription glasses. But their inaccessibility to prescription glasses forces them to live with functional blindness the inability to see well enough to do basic everyday tasks, such as reading, writing, cooking and earning a living. You can use the large network of Lions Club International volunteers to donate your prescription glasses. They accept old eyeglasses (both prescription and non prescription), reading glasses and sunglasses, in both adults and childrens sizes. They clean and repair the used eyewear, which is then distributed to people who couldnt afford to buy their own prescription glasses. All you have to do is to take your old pairs to a Lions Club eyeglass donation centre in your town. You can also check the eyewear donation web page of Lions Club for more information.
