Whatever application you might use to apply paint would obscure your vision. Why not just do what is already done and use colored cellophane? You can buy whole rolls of blue and red at any store that sells gift wrap.

there were these beautiful adrienne vittadini eyeglasses that i absolutely loved

but they don't come in my size (50) I really want to find some similar ones. i don't like really bulky frames and i like rectangular ones. nothing too obscure but nothing too blah.

anybody have any ideas???
