I found a pair online that I like, but I don't want to order them without being able to try them on. Fortunately I live within 30 minutes of a Burberry store and an outlet, but I was wondering if possibly Lenscrafters or a store of that kind would have them available.
I don't know where you are, but my opthamologist office carries them, and I imagine most of them probably do.

I see nice used eyeglasses all the time at the big goodwill outlet store. But I wouldn't know where to send them to if I picked them up for that purpose. I think I looked it up but was not able to find a Lions Club in my area.
My husband belongs to a Lions Club. They have boxes all over the city where people can drop off used eyeglasses and cases.
The eyeglasses are then sent to a place that checks them and finds out the prescription, cleans them, and then are taken when the Lions go on eyesight trips around the world and are given to people who need the glasses but can't afford them or to even see an optometrist. Or they are sent to Lion's Clubs all around the world and those clubs give them to people who need them.
If you can't find a local club to give them to, you can mail them directly to a Lions Recycling Center. Look at the second link for information about sending the eyeglasses to a recycling center.
I'm going to Minneapolis for 3 days on August 8th. I've been there only once before, and I know where the Mall of America is, etc.
Does anyone know of a good place to shop in Minneapolis, other than M of A?
Like, small boutiques, or outlet stores, or eyeglass shops?
As many suggestions as possible would really help :) BTW, I'm from Canada, so there are a lot of shops that we don't have that are in the US. So naming larger stores are good too :)
I'm 21...so no younger girl stores :)
And I dress kind of dressy boho chic I guess. But not too hippie-ish.
Hello.
I just came back from Mall of America a few days ago.
My favorite stores are Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister.
These two stores are probably the most popular.
But, as I don't know your age, just dress in what you are comfortable in.
There are two new stores there called Gilly Hicks (underwear) and Ruehl.
Abercrombie owns all the stores I have mentioned.
The mall is huge, so take a few days to figure out your style and just go for it!

It's been a month and a half since I went with a prescription from my optomologist to an optical outlet to purchase a pair of glasses. I paid $425.00 for the total cost with my master card. Everytime I call I get the run around. I haven't been able to pick up my eyeglasses because I am told they are not ready and no one ever calls me. In my receipt it is written,
NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Eyeglasses or deposits left over 60 days.
Customer's own frames or lenses which are being used or repaired.
No refund on Eyeglasses.
I have a gut feeling that they are waiting for the 60 days to run out so they won't have to give me a refund.
I was told "that the reason why my eyeglasses are not ready is because the lab relocated."
Can someone please tell me what I should do. Please give detail. Thank you.
Call your credit card company, and have the charge removed from your bill.
Then call the optical company and cancel your order.
Good luck - they are trying to rip you off
