I'm ordering eyeglasses on Ebay cause they are much cheaper there than at an actual eyewear store. And I don't know my size. I need to order them now before the bid is closed. I am a female teen and I am 13 years old. I have terrible vision and cant see far away distances. I definately need glasses to correct my vision. I have been wearing glasses sincce 2nd grade. As i got older, I got embarassed and stopped wearing them. My vision seems to get worse each year. But my parents think I am faking it! I want contacts becuase I keep getting embarassed in school becuase I cant see the board! Err i hate those times. Anyway, i have a big head and so the glasses com out really big. And they dont look cute. I need advice on getting contacts and how to convince my parents to let me get them! I need a lot of help! And so like how much are contacts. I asked before and the dr said $148 first box and then you get like a $40 coupon to the next boxes. How much is each box after that? I am putting about 100 bucks to it. Thats how much I want them.

gather up information on contacts and make promises, like promise to pay for part of it. Write it all out and sign the bottom! if that doesn't work, tell your parents how you feel self conscious and embarrassed about wearing your glasses. tell them you'd feel better if you got contacts.
as for prices, contacts can be pricey. first of all, the exam that teaches you how to put them in. then the contacts.
i'm not exactly POSITIVE about the prices, but i'm sure that website that i gave you will give you an estimated price.

I finished my motorcycle training course in India and will go for my learner's licence next week. So I want to buy a helmet. I've got a fairly big head and wear glasses constantly. I just went to try out helmets and spent a good half hour trying different types on. When I choose a helmet that fits snugly (as recommended), my eyeglasses don't feel too comfortable. For my eyeglasses to be comfortable, the helmet is a little big such that it wobbles. I only tried out the closed types, didn't try out the hats and other open-ended types.

Any recommendations from those who faced similar problems?

I wear big glasses, the trick is the put on.
Take off your glasses
put on helmet
slip glasses thru eye slots.
May be look for a broader face, different brands fit differently. Don't buy the popular model that everyone who doesn't wear glasses uses, get 1 that fits you.
