Eyeglasses no sunglasses. My first glasses were generic and they are oxidizing. Then I bought GUCCI frames the plastic sounds and feels extremely strong/solid, it has no iron on it it's IDK what kind of metal. I've accidentally sited on top of the GUCCI's many times and they don't bent. The generic ones I've accidentally sited on top of them and it looks like an elephant steeped on them. My point is are designer eyeglasses better than generic.
In my opinion, they are. While they may not always be crafted from higher quality materials than the generic glasses, the construction of designer frames is usually more solid.
I bought a pair of generic glasses this summer and I returned them because the craftsmanship was so poor. They wiggled at the joints and the lenses became loose.

My vision isn't that bad, but it's bad enough for me to wear glasses. If I'm wearing glasses, might as well look cute on it. I just purchased a pair of Chanel eyeglasses at an optometrist office. Before I purchased them I did ask if the glasses were authentic. She assured me they were. They looked so good I purchased them right away. They were kind of cheap, only $140.00.. which left me worried... are they fake?
