Eyeglasses Clip

i have designer eyeglasses and the usual flip ups and other clip ons look ugly with their bridges over the nose. and they cover the nice frame of my eyeglasses.

Hello, I bought from www.sunclipies.com some weeks ago. They look and work perfect. They were exactly tailored for my own glasses. They are clipped in from inside the glasses and thus only change the eyeglass color (and not the design of my eyeglasses).

I need some stronger clip-ons because the only ones i can find are at wal-mart for $12 but they're so cheap they scratch up and break in half easily and i've already went through 6 pairs this year already since its the only kind that will fit over my DKNY eyeglasses. DY5543 52x17

im not sure about DKNY having a particular clip on for their frames. however, try calling some optical places in the area.. see if they have clip ons.. Hilco makes some decent ones. they may be around $30. and they may have to order them (they have charts that can hold the frame to to see if it would fit). they make alot of shapes and sizes.. they might not always fit, but its worth a shot.

well if you lived in canada i would tell you where to go since i work in an eye glasses place..

umm.. but really unless there is a specific clip on made for those glasses it is almost impossible to find a clip on that will fit those glasses, they are likely to always be too big or too small... Goodluck though! It is possible, it's just really really really hard.!!!!

I wear Silouette rimless glasses and want to change to a light blue tint without having to buy new glasses. I currently have regular dark brown sun clips for sunglasses but would love to be able to get a new look from different tinted lenses. I've searched all over the 'net for hours looking for same and can't find anything out there.
I wish someone would invent a box of tinted lenses that could be clipped over regular ones to give a different look. Thanks!

I don't know about a blue tint - you can ask the place where you got the glasses but have you thought about transition lenses? I have rimless glasses with transition lenses put in and it's nice because the lenses go dark with the sunlight or any UV light so they instantly become sunglasses without any kind of clip on plus the lenses are made of polycarbonate material so they are more scratch and shatter proof and they're thinner than regular lenses too.

Unless that frame originally came with a magnetic clip....it can't be done.

Many people are under the impression that magnetic clips can be bought for any frame, but that isn't so.

Frames that have magnetic clips come as a set to begin with , and have their own specific clip that won't fit any other frame.

If your frame DID have a magnetic clip, and you lost it, then only reordering an original clip that was made for that frame will work. Only some place that sells those frames would be able to order another clip for it.
