2 lens , 1 frame (sub-assembly - whatever metal you want, or plastic and a metal inner structure), 4 screws (probably 1/16 inches), 2 brackets (between frame and ears supports - same material as frame), 2 ears supports (same material as the frame), 2 nose protection (plastic), case cover (plastic, wood, etc), case lower box (same material as cover), hinge (sub-assembly). You can imagine a variety of eyeglasses design, though...

I wear eyeglasses and each time I get a new set of frames, they give me a hard eyeglass case to protect my new glasses. I used to just store my old cases in a drawer since I didn’t need the old ones since I had a new replacement case.
