Eyeglass Wear

For someone who needs to wear eyeglass, do they need to wear eyeglass as often as they need? Or just when they really need to?

Personally I need to wear eyeglass, and if I don't wear them frequently, I start to get dizzy without eyeglass (consider how blurry things can get for me). Then again, my sister always tells me to wear it as less as possible. While I heard others say wear it as often as you need. So which one is correct? Should I wear it just when I need to, or wear all the time?

Does one of them make eyes worst or something? Please help, thanks in advance.

You should wear them when your DOCTOR tells you to. Some prescriptions are only meant to be worn at certain times, others all the time. Wearing or not wearing your glasses does not make them better or worse. Most of the RX has to do with heredity and how your eyes will change over your lifetime is determined by other factors, not by your glasses. The important thing with andy prescribed item, glasses, contacts, medicine, whatever, it that you do what your doctor tells you to do. NOT what other people that are not your doctor say. See what I mean?

I am a college student taking a computer science course.And I want to wear an eyeglass for fashion purpose.It is ok if i buy? And is there any side effect if i wear even my vision is perfect?

You don't have to buy prescription eyeglasses, you can wear ones with just a plain lense. Definitely DON'T wear prescription ones if you don't need them, they will hurt your eyes and worsen them. But you can easily buy glasses for fashion, just don't get prescription lenses put in.

Somebody had told me that this is possible, so you should wear your eyeglasses if you're supposed to be wearing them. Over the years it's possible that you can go blind from stigmatism, or cataracts, and things of this nature. True or Not? I stopped wearing eyeglasses for like 2 years already, even though I'm still supposed to be wearing them for my eyesight.What's up? Is this person right, or this is just a myth or misconception?

Not wearing glasses will NOT make you go blind or even ultimately affect your vision. Nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism are all a result of the shape of your eye- putting a lens in front of it cannot affect this. Not wearing glasses will simply make you blurry for the time being, it obviously is not bothering you too much or you'd be wearing them all of the time. I wear BTE hearing aids and eyeglasses. I think each of them are designed to fit on top of the ear, without any other device on the ear. As it is, my ears get tired from having both devices on them. And if I were to wear on-the-ear headphones, my ears would be even more tired. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how do you deal with it?

I do not know how to answer this from personal experience, but my cousin wears hearing aids and eyeglasses. She chose a light wire frame when she wears her eyeglasses, but uses contact lenses most of the time. I am not sure if contacts are an option for you, but you may want to consider it. If you can wear hearing aids that are not behind the ear, that may be another option for you as well.

I want to watch Final Destination 3D, but I wear eyeglasses because I'm shortsighted. And don't you need to wear the red and blue glasses? I can't wear both at the same time, so how do I get around this?

I think they make the others to fit over yours, though I've never tried. I hate 3-D myself!
