I work in a dispensary and I am curious as to what other people think will be the next big trend. And also what is the newest trend?

I want to buy new glasses that I'll still like two years from now. What is the future style in eyeglasses?

Oh I work at an eye doctors so I look at frames all day. I can not tell you enough how wonderful a tortoise color frame is. It really goes well b/c black is sometimes to harsh if you are pale as I am. I would say go for a designer frame but nothing over the top with rhinestones all on the side. Something that fits your face.

I need new ones (wear constantly) and would like fashionable but not faddish. What are the current trends as far as shape, size, color, understanding of course the need to look good on my face?

You should definetly go with a plastic square frame. Maybe a brown or black, depending on what color looks best with you hair and skin tone.

Yes, yes, I know that being yourself is better than any trend and being original is the best kind of style you can have but you know you've recently seen a couple hundred girls wearing plaid shirts that remind you of lumberjacks walking around your school all of a sudden..

I'm a high school student in Southern California btw and recently I've seen a lot of lumberjack looking shirts, big no-prescription-clear lenses eyeglasses, and leather jackets.. Yeah. Leather jackets.
So recently what have new trends have you seen popping up at your school?
(And by recently I don't necessarily mean these past two days we've been in school of course..)

Blazers, vest, and moccasins. I wore them first but then everyone started getting them, so now im back to wearing oxfords and cardigans.
