I am a female, 5'4", slender build, with dark brown hair, fair skin, and hazel eyes. Think these black Prada frames would look alright? The stripe on the side is silver metal.

In reference to my personality, I am a law student who is into art and Icelandic music. I love wearing black (but not Goth black) and have a Manhattan-personlity.

I think they would enhance your already very nice appearance!

Really high quality stylish frames and superior optics? Who's the best in the business?

That is a very difficult question because every name brand company has good frames, and they also have some dogs.

Even D&G , has some models that aren't as good as others they have.

Gant, Guess, and any other name you can think of all have some excellent quality frames, but they all have some in their collections that aren't as good.

Optics are different, there are several manufacturers such as Zeiss, Rodenstock, Nikon, Sola, Seiko, and others who all make excellent products.

I don't think any one brand, either in frames, or in lenses can be said to be the " best " all the time.

The frames come from different places than the lenses do , so you won't find one manufacturer who is tops in both.

I've been having these percscription glasses and I haven't wore them much until now and I really hate the nose pad. They're exactly like this - http://eyeglasses.go-optic.com/DFRAMES/i mages/VAL5430.jpg

The problem is that they're clear and they're attached to the whole franme. How can I get rid of it?

I don't think that you can get rid of them... I almost have the same glasses... I think that if they bother you that much than you should get a different pair of glasses.

Just a note, the lens side of the frame will be black for both of the frames. the main difference is just in the style (full rim/half rim/temple)

According to my optometrist, both glasses look VERY similar on me. Its just up to personal preference
i concur.......

It all depends on the shape of your face and how they look on YOU. not in this picture. but i personally like the second ones. they are more modern-looking.
