Custom Eyeglasses

Do you know if a eyeglass place would help me get custom prescription lenses for these eyeglasses I bought on the internet?
What if the seller tells me that they're prescription frames?

Any reputable shop will help you replace the lenses with your prescription. Remember, you're looking for "opticians" (sell glasses) instead of "optometrists" (determine prescription and check eye health).

Most will inspect the quality of the frames you bring in, and then will tell you that they aren't responsible if the frames break.

If the frames do break when they're putting in the lenses, then you'll be required to get the warranty replacement (from the Internet seller) on your own.

I’m interested in getting some custom made glasses. I’ve searched all over the internet for a site but I’ve only found http://www.spectechsantamonica.com/custo mframe.html and it seems a little expensive to me at $385. I’m wondering if there’s a reliable company in China or someplace where I can have my glasses cheaply duplicated with some minor modifications. Oh and I’ve looked into laser sintering and that’s crazy expensive.
Note: I'm not looking for the weirdest glasses out there. I actually want to customize my own glasses for cheap. Check out the site that I included to see exactly what I'm talking about, thanks.

I have eyeglasses that I paid a lot for and really like. My clip-ons chipped off some paint on the frame, right at the top of my lens, so it's pretty obvious. I would like to find some custom-color paint or nail polish to repaint the spot. It's sort of a metallic copper color. Any ideas?

This is what I do to make my polish different. Get your metalic copper colored nail polish and mix it with another color to bring out the shade you want. If you can't get it to the right color take it back to where you got the glasses from and have them fix or replace the frame. Hope you have a good excuse how it happened or can think up a good one. I would take it back to the store first and then try the other.

I'm looking for a pair of rimless eyeglasses which have a clear bridge and arms. So far the most transparent frames I've found are thin titanium. The whole idea is that when I have them on they will be practically invisible.
Also, I may consider the vintage style which has no arms and a spring bridge. Does anyone know where I could find JUST the spring bridges to purchase?
If not, does anyone know where I could have them custom made? I found a website that charges $600 for custom frames, but I feel they should be less expensive.

One of my coworkers had a pair of glasses made by Silhouette. They are rimless and had clear plastic arms and bridge. This is a link to their website. Unfortunately my computer won't let me copy info from the actual website. Sorry. I have a pair with thin purple arms and bridge and they're much less noticeable than my old glasses b/c they're rimless. Mine were about $300. I don't know about vintage frames.
